The main provisions of the inspection & testing service is to: *Ensure that licensed vehicles are mechanically safe and meet the standards of the DVSA MoT. *Ensure that licensed vehicles are compliant with Telford & Wrekin Council's licence conditions. *Ensure that trailers towed by licensed vehicles are of a safe construction and suitable for the towing vehicle. *To carry out a meter accuracy test for hackney carriages on the Council's measured mile Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
