## Summary

The Hull City Council is seeking to implement a Whole School Food and Nutrition Programme to enhance the health of its population by supporting 45 schools, including primary, secondary, special, and PRU institutions. The contract, valued at approximately £244,000, is classified under the Education and Training Services and Health and Social Work Services categories. This tender is currently at the Award stage, having been awarded on 22 December 2015 with a contract period from 4 January 2016 to 3 January 2019, including an option for a 12-month extension depending on performance.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses involved in educational services, nutrition, and health promotion to expand their operations in Hull. Companies with experience in working with schools and those that can offer integrated food and nutrition programmes are particularly well-suited to compete. The initiative aims to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the education sector, providing a significant avenue for service providers to contribute to the improvement of nutritional health within the community's most deprived areas.
