## Summary

The Yorkshire and Humber Police Procurement (Y&HPP) is conducting a procurement process for a training programme titled "Pilot Instrument Rating (NPAS)", focusing on the training of up to 40 pilots over five years. This initiative falls under the "services" category, specifically involving the use of training simulators, and is located in Yorkshire and the Humber region of the UK. The procurement method applied is an open procedure, with the contract period commencing on 1st June 2019 and concluding on 31st May 2022. The tender process has been completed, with contracts awarded on 1st February 2019, following a submission deadline that ended on 13th December 2018.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in the aviation training sector, particularly those that specialise in providing aviation simulation and pilot training services. Companies that can supply training courses and relevant resources, including flight simulators and instructional materials, would be well-positioned to compete for future contracts arising from similar initiatives. The emphasis on training qualified military pilots could also cater to firms capable of delivering specialised aviation education solutions.
