The contract will cover the Authorities stock of approximately ( and subject to change) 8894 homes and include the annual gas safety checks of domestic properties, breakdown repairs to heating / hot water systems and the installation of new central heating boilers / systems. The contract will be split into two Lots: Lot 1 - Welwyn Garden City Area, Comprising: Response repairs - approximately 5065 Dwellings * Response repairs including out of hours service to provide 24 hour cover. * Gas safety inspections and servicing of all dwellings for which Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council are the landlord. * Void works (Including Gas safety checks at initial cap off and then uncap and recommission). * Planned Works from raised works orders * Reactive Planned work (Works that would normally be of a 'planned' size or nature but require completing responsively at short notice outside of any planned maintenance contract). Lot 2 - Hatfield and Villages Area, Comprising Response repairs - approximately 3829 Dwellings * Response repairs including out of ours service to provide 24 hour cover. * Gas safety inspections and servicing of all dwellings for which Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council are the landlord. * Void works (Including Gas safety checks at initial cap off and then uncap and recommission). * Planned Works from raised works orders * Reactive Planned work (Works that would normally be of a 'planned' size or nature but require completing responsively at short notice outside of any planned maintenance contract).
