## Summary

The Birmingham City Council has awarded a contract for footfall data services, titled "QU514 - Footfall Data," essential for evaluating economic recovery in Birmingham's high streets and commercial areas. This contract will run from 27th September 2021 to 28th March 2022, following the completion of the tender process which closed on 10th September 2021. The data will be used for assessing the effectiveness of funding received from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the Welcome Back Fund, and it will cover multiple areas within Birmingham.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialised in data services, particularly those focused on data analysis and survey analysis. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to partake in such contracts as they may offer innovative solutions tailored for local contexts. Firms capable of providing detailed footfall analysis and real-time data monitoring would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract, which could enhance their visibility in the public sector and contribute to their growth.
