## Summary

The City of Wolverhampton Council is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for the "MW20029 - Supported Living Framework - Forensic and/or Challenging Behaviour Framework - Market Engagement Event." This opportunity falls under the category of Other community, social, and personal services and is located in the West Midlands, England. A budget of £563,000 has been allocated for the 2021/2022 period, with the subsequent contract expected to commence on 1st July 2021 and run until 30th June 2025. A virtual provider engagement session is scheduled for 5th November 2020 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, with registration open from 20th October to 4th November 2020.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses within the social care sector, particularly those specialising in supported living for individuals with forensic histories or challenging behaviours. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, as feedback from this market engagement will shape future procurement processes. Interested providers should attend the engagement event to better understand the Council's requirements and to network with other potential partners in this field.

## Notice

The City of Wolverhampton Council are inviting providers to hear about an upcoming tendering opportunity for a new framework that we will be created to replace the existing framework (PP18041 - Supported Living Framework - People who are at risk of coming into contact with the Criminal Justice system or have a forensic history). The framework will be for people with a forensic history and/or with complex challenging behaviour. The aim of this event is to provide an outline of the commissioning intentions, for commissioners to understanding the interest and the market's capabilities, and for potential service providers to gain a wider understanding of the scope, provide feedback and ask questions. The session will give an overview of the current services provided in Wolverhampton, describe the Council's visions going forward and explain the procurement process. The information gathered from this exercise will help shape future proposals including any potential tendering process and associated service specification For the avoidance of doubt, this stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and the Council is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Participation or non-participation in the pre-procurement market engagement process shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the pre-procurement process shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process. Participation in the pre-procurement market engagement procurement process will be at each suppliers own cost. No expense in responding to this process will be reimbursed by the Council. This is not a call for competition. The virtual provider engagement session will be held via MS Teams between 10.00am - 1.00pm on Thursday 5 November 2020 to provide further information about this tender opportunity. The availability to book will open on Tuesday 20th October 2020 at 1pm and will close on Wednesday 4th November 2020 at 12pm.
