As part of the Digital Transformation programmes of work, we aim to develop a platform that encompasses a range of technologies including a web portal and e-marketplace which supports the bi-borough personalisation agenda. This will enable us to manage demand effectively, and give our customers - including service users, families, carers, support networks and those with accessibility needs - a flexible and intuitive path to access the services they need to help maintain their independence. Our customers expect to be able to access information and advice, conduct self-assessments, request and buy services/products, using the device of their choice. This element is key, as many customers will prefer to self-serve, in addition to this we will maintain accessibility for our most vulnerable service users.
