## Summary

The procurement process, initiated by NHS Sheffield CCG, focuses on contracting Direct Access Endoscopy and Gastroenterology Services under the Any Qualified Provider (AQP) model. This tender, identified as "NHS Leeds CCGs: Direct Access Endoscopy and Gastroenterology Services AQP," falls under the healthcare services category (CPV code 85110000) and is intended for providers within the Yorkshire and the Humber region of the UK. The contract period is set to start on 1st July 2017 and conclude on 30th June 2020, with a three-month mobilisation period required post-award. The tender application phase ended on 18th April 2017, and providers may apply for Lot 1 for endoscopy services or both Lot 1 and Lot 2 for gastroenterology and colonoscopy services.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in healthcare services, including small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSEs). Suppliers who can demonstrate appropriate qualifications, experience in delivering similar services, and the ability to integrate with existing health information systems will likely excel in this competitive environment. Interested providers should ensure their facilities meet the necessary clinical governance standards and are equipped to mobilise within the specified timeframe.
