## Summary

The University of Sheffield is seeking contractors for the construction of a Central Cycle Hub, located in Sheffield, Yorkshire and the Humber. ## Notice

Tender Opportunity 1571/MR The University wishes to install a cycle hub on a sloping site that has electric cables underneath as well as pockets of asbestos materials identified in the site survey. The proposal is for 168 gas operated cycle storage racks along with Male and Female changing areas with showers,lockers, a disabled toilet and cleaners cupboard. The structure of the building is blockwork with render finish and a galvanised steel mesh finish. The University would like the contractor to explore economical methods to achieving the mesh finish to the front elevation but still achieving 30-40years life cycle costs This is an open Non EU procurement procedure.
