## Notice

Public Health England (PHE) is seeking to replace an analyser used in its National Infection Service Laboratory (NIS) in Colchester for majority of blood testing for infectious viruses and H. pylori faecal antigens. The current analyser is beyond its life expectancy. The proposed solution MUST be able to fulfil all the following requirements: - Can perform a variety of assays in a group of samples and processing several consecutive batches simultaneously. - Capable of performing serial dilutions. - Capable of specifying additional dilutions of selected samples and indicate its source, dilution factor, volume and number of replicates. - It is an open platform capable of automatically performing all steps of any ELISA test, regardless of the kit manufacturer. - Ability to provide Diagnostic Self-Tests, alarms, Quality Control Program and registry files to ensure the functioning of the system as well as verification. - Must offer High Capacity / Multi-batch capability and process test 4 test plates simultaneously, 92 samples per batch. - Capable of clot detection and capacitance level sensing when using fixed needles and disposables tips. - Option to start incubation time at the dispensing of the first well. - Ability to transfer a quantity of sample from the primary sample tubes to a 96-tube plate for archiving and provision of printed report detailing the location and identification of each sample on the plate and volume dispensed. - Ability to undertake performance checks for incubator, washer and diluter using kits.
