## Summary

The current procurement process, initiated by Transport for London (TfL), is focused on addressing the Fare Evasion Problem Statement. This tender falls under the category of Automatic fare collection and is being conducted in London, United Kingdom. The procurement is at the planning stage, with a key engagement deadline set for 28th February 2020. As part of the preliminary market engagement, the authority is compiling a Market Sounding Questionnaire to gauge supplier interest and capability for innovative solutions that address fare evasion.

This tender presents potential growth opportunities for businesses involved in technology, transportation solutions, and related services, especially those specialising in automatic fare collection and electronic hardware. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations are encouraged to participate, as TfL is seeking diverse insights on the feasibility and risks associated with potential solutions. By engaging with this procurement process, businesses can position themselves to contribute to significant innovations that could enhance fare collection systems within London's transport network.
