It is intended that the Local Plan will be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate before the end of April 2017. Assuming this is the case, it is anticipated that the Plan would then be the subject of an independent Examination commencing in July 2017. To facilitate the Examination process, which starts as soon as the Plan is submitted, the Council wishes to appoint an experienced, independent Programme Officer to administer the process and act as a key point of contact between the appointed Inspector, Council Officers and interested parties who wish to appear at the Examination.
