The majority are in the Solihull Borough and 1 school is in Worcestershire. These are managed by Solihull Catering Service. This includes a mixture of primary and secondary schools. It is estimated that 92 tills will need to replaced, although the numbers may increase or decrease throughout the contract period. The tills will need to be delivered, installed with staff trained and units operational by 29th February 2020. The procurement involves hardware, software, and ongoing maintenance and ongoing training for relevant personnel. The contract period is 5 years with the options to extend up to 3 years. Solihull Catering Service will consider both purchase and leasing options. SMBC is looking for a hands on approach when it comes to implementation so that deadlines are met and a continuing relationship that is both innovative and forward looking throughout the period of the contract Additional information: This procurement is being undertaken through the use of an electronic tendering web based system called CSW-JETS, a joint system used by members of the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Shared Service. In order to participate in this procurement you will need to be registered on the Council's e-Tendering site at www.csw-jets.co.uk. Tenderers only need to register once to receive tender notifications from 8 local authorities. Use of the Council's e-Tendering system is free for Tenderers throughout the whole procurement process. Access to the submissions will only be made available to those employees of the Council and/or their authorised advisors in respect of this project.
