Brief description: We are looking for a Technical Accounting Manager on a temporary basis. Duties and responsibilities include: * Prepare for the 2021/22 year-end process by reviewing the current timetable and task list and identifying any processes that can be completed * Lead on the production of the 2021/22 Statement of Accounts and manage the team that support the year end process * Prepare working papers for the external audit process * The candidate will need excellent and up to date knowledge of Local Government accounting requirements and the Accounting Code of Practice. Please can the agencies send over a CV, 2x up to date references and a copy of Terms and Conditions. You will also need to include your agency on cost details to each submission. Stated rates must be inclusive of all known costs. No DBS is required for this role.
