## Notice

A significant site to enable this town centre regeneration is the current Wickford Community Centre site adjoined by the Library and Willows Shopping Centre in Market Road, Wickford. It is proposed to relocate the Community Centre to a new building on the North East corner of Nevendon Recreation Ground. The new Community Centre is planned to sit in alongside the existing skate park. The existing Nevendon Play Centre will be demolished with new facilities provided in the new Community Centre. The Council are currently working up designs for the new Community Centre with an appointed architect in liaison with the Community Association. It is hoped that a planning application will be submitted in Summer 2018. The new Community Centre is envisaged to be a modular building.
