The appointment will be through this tender process with the aim of achieving best value for money. Both service cost and quality are of paramount importance to the University. The University of West London wishes to engage a Principal Contractor to provide a key-turn solution to survey, investigate, validate, design, alter and refurbish spaces to create open plan office space, breakout & meeting rooms, offices associated spaces and laboratory teaching space to the 3rd floor under Design & Build procurement at the Century House campus. The works include reconfiguring of office and teaching accommodation within the floor, to create more flexible spaces (refer to Appendices). The works are to take place whilst the building is fully operational with both staff, students and external hire guests making use of the building throughout the programme as well as other small works contractors undertaking business-as-usual maintenance and works. It is therefore imperative that the works are completed in a sympathetic manner.
