## Summary

The procurement process is led by PAGABO, aiming to establish a National Framework for Food Supply Broker Services to facilitate purchase-to-pay (P2P) solutions for public sector food procurement across the UK. This process is currently at the tender stage, with the tender period concluding on 22nd October 2020. The expected contract period spans three years starting from 16th November 2020, with an option for a one-year extension. This tender is classified under several industry categories, including food, catering services, and procurement software, and features a single lot with a maximum of five suppliers. The procurement method is an open procedure, adhering to the Public Contract Regulations 2015.

This opportunity presents substantial growth potential for businesses engaged in food supply, catering services, and procurement solutions. Companies specialising in food distribution, local food sourcing, and procurement technologies would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. The framework encourages collaboration with public sector bodies, allowing them to directly award or further compete their requirements, thereby opening avenues for both established and emerging suppliers in the food and procurement sectors.
