## Summary

The Equality and Human Rights Commission is conducting a tender for the project titled "EHRC 1718-99 Research into Grenfell residents' access to public services and support." This project falls under the industry category of social research services and is located in the United Kingdom. The procurement method for this opportunity is an open procedure, with the tender period having closed on 20 April 2018. The contract period is set to run from 25 April 2018 to 15 June 2018, with a total contract value of £20,000.

This research initiative presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that focus on social research and stakeholder engagement. Companies specialised in community engagement, public service analysis, and social support systems would find this tender particularly relevant. By contributing to this research, businesses have the chance to influence future public service strategies and enhance their visibility within the social sector.

## Notice

The aims of this research project are: 1. To understand the experience of residents in the aftermath of the fire (and not their experiences of the fire and events on the day). This includes both survivors and those who live in the immediate vicinity and have been displaced. In particular we want to know about their experiences of accessing support ranging from access to advice and support services such as housing, visas, benefits and legal to experiences of access to healthcare. (This list is not exhaustive and you may identify further areas to present in the research). 2. To understand the knowledge, attitudes and practices of key stakeholders (such as RBKC and other key service providers) in response to the fire and how they have supported survivors and those displaced. In addition, to get a sense of the numbers of people affected and how. We have established a relationship with key organisations such as Grenfell United and Kensington Law Centre and would expect you to work closely with them. 3. To provide the Commission with details of up to 5 respondents who are willing for us to record video stories about their experiences. This will be followed up by our Communications team and will complement our evidence base. We will use the videos to influence the official Inquiry as well as provide a neutral platform for people to speak about their experiences.
