The purpose of the FA3D2 project is to create a national testbed facility for the development and demonstration of innovative, manufacturing technologies capable of facilitating the digitally enabled assembly of future aircraft. The University requests quotations from sufficiently experienced and qualified suppliers for the provision of Robot Pedestals and Baseplate to include the fabrication, machining, inspection, and delivery of pedestal assemblies and a baseplate, on which to seat robots in various configurations as per supplied definition drawings.
