## Summary

The Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking tenders for Facilities and Asset Management Services, part of its strategy to optimise its substantial property portfolio valued at approximately £900 million. The procurement process is currently at the Award stage, having been initiated on 20th May 2019. The tender invites bids for three specific lots focusing on different aspects of facilities and asset management, with a total contract value of £8 million. The contract period is set to run from 4th November 2020 until 3rd November 2024, making it crucial for interested parties to be attentive to potential future procurement opportunities.

This tender represents significant opportunities for businesses in the facilities management and asset management sectors, particularly those that can deliver either standalone services or an integrated solution across the specified disciplines. Companies specialising in data management, property services, and energy management, as well as those experienced in property rationalisation and innovative workspace solutions, would be particularly well-suited to compete. Engaging with this contract could enable businesses to expand their reach in the public sector and contribute to the efficient management of local government assets.
