Description The Support Chain Information Support team (SCIS) within Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) continues to prepare to initiate a competitive procurement process to award a contract for a new Joint Equipment Maintenance Management Application (JEMMA). Procurement Timescales & Contract Value. The Authority anticipates issue of Contract Notice and to start Supplier Selection in January 2022 with the issue of an invitation to negotiate in April 2022. The current estimated value range of the Contract is between PS20M-PS100m. 3. Industry Day. Prior to initiating the procurement, it is confirmed that the Authority intends to hold an Industry Day on 29 September 2021. The current location is the Holiday Inn, Filton Bristol, BS16 1QX. Government and local Covid-19 rules and restrictions may mean that the location or approach will change. Attendance is by application only and the details of that process are in the following paragraphs. The purpose of the industry day, and the follow-on engagement, is principally to brief the JEMMA requirement, without commitment at this stage, and to: - Help MOD better understand market capability - Ensure that the requirement is accurately understood and deliverable - Invite industry, on a 1 to 1 basis, to showcase their capabilities to effectively develop and implement potential solutions, whilst mitigating the key risks Information on how to apply for the 1 to 1 session is provided below in this notice. The MOD is not expecting suppliers to present any information at the Industry Day. The day will provide important information about JEMMA and its global operational context, provide some high-level information on the key engineering and asset management processes, the principal system design requirements, and the commercial roadmap.
