## Summary

The Ministry of Defence is preparing to initiate a competitive procurement process for the Joint Equipment Maintenance Management Application (JEMMA), currently at the planning stage. The anticipated timeline includes the issuance of a Contract Notice and supplier selection beginning in January 2022, with an invitation to negotiate expected to be sent out in April 2022. The contract is estimated to be valued between £20 million and £100 million. An Industry Day is scheduled for 29 September 2021 at the Holiday Inn in Filton, Bristol, where details regarding the JEMMA requirements will be shared. Notably, engagement with potential suppliers will conclude on 7 January 2022.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses in the software development and supply sectors, particularly those focusing on warehouse management, inventory management, enterprise resource planning, and database systems. Companies looking to engage in this tender should have expertise in developing and implementing complex management applications, as well as the ability to demonstrate capabilities tailored to the Ministry of Defence's needs. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, suggesting a diverse range of potential contenders can benefit from this initiative.
