With a total budget of £100,000, organisations can bid for up to £25,000 to deliver pilot business start-up projects within West Yorkshire. The key objective of this fund is to ensure that anyone in West Yorkshire who wants to start a business can access good quality support and guidance to do so. Particularly individuals from our key demographics including (but not limited to): women, individuals from an ethnic minority, those who self-identify as having a disability, those with low education attainment and those from deprived areas of West Yorkshire. This call for projects aims to better understand the barriers that these individuals face and test the impact of targeted support aimed at helping these individuals overcome a defined barrier. Learnings from this call for project will be used to design future start-up provision.
