This enables them to hear in schools and early year settings where background noise and distance from the speaker is inevitable. The Inclusion Service is responsible for enabling children and young people to access education. The aim of the Inclusion Service is to remove barriers to inclusion. Radio Aids are one way in which this is achieved for children and young people with hearing impairment or deafness. The Radio Aid enables children to hear in unfavorable hearing environments and enables the Authority to achieve this aim.
