## Summary

The University of Exeter has completed the procurement process for the "Circular Economy Strategic Transition," aimed at supporting the transition of activities from the CE-Hub to the Exeter Centre for Circular Economy within its Business School. This tender falls under the industry's business and management consultancy and related services, specifically research consultancy services. Located in South West, United Kingdom, the process utilized the open procedure method, and was designed to provide specialist support for the end of the existing funding in December 2024. The tender period concluded on 15th March 2024, with the contract period running from 9th April 2024 to 10th April 2025.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly SMEs, to engage with the University of Exeter in ongoing circular economy activities, potentially contributing to executive education and future initiatives. Companies with expertise in consultancy services, research, and management, especially those focused on circular economy practices, are well-suited to compete. Successful engagement in this project will enable businesses to develop strong industry links, enhance their portfolio with high-profile collaborations, and drive innovation in sustainability and circular economy strategies.

## Notice

The Exeter Centre for the Circular Economy (ECCE) is part of the faculty of Environment, Science and Economy (ESE) at the University of Exeter. The University was chosen to lead the CE-Hub, the coordinating hub for the National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Research (NICER) programme in 2021; a PS30 million UKRI-funded programme working to provide the evidence base needed to deliver a resilient and restorative circular economy for the UK. The Hub works with the five UKRI National Interdisciplinary Circular Economy Research Centres on the programme, and brings together academics, industry practitioners, policy makers and civic society to deliver CE research and innovation. The funding for this project is coming to an end in December 2024 and we would like the winning bidder to provide the specialist support necessary to transition the activities and outputs of the CE Hub into the Exeter Centre for Circular Economy based at the University of Exeter Business School. This includes, but is not limited to the website, tools, methodologies, case studies, external stakeholder relationships and the knowledge hub. We would also seek to engage the supplier on future CE related activities developed and delivered under the Exeter Centre for Circular Economy including, but not limited to contribution to the development of our Executive Education portfolio.
