Job Summary: We are looking to appoint a temporary Licensing Officer with excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for received and processing of licence applications primarily under the Licensing 2003, and the Gambling Act 2005 with input on Scrap licensing applications also. This will include processing licence applications in accordance with council procedures, maintaining computer records and advising customers in relation to licensing matters. Experience of report writing and presenting for Court, Committee or Boards would be desirable. Good customer service skills, target focussed and ability to manage conflicting demands are essential.
