RBWM is therefore issuing thisprior information notice to request expressions of interest from experienced tree surgery contractors who maybe interested in tendering for a place on this potential framework. RBWM contains significant areas of open and green space and woodlands play a vital role in defining RBWM asa "Green Borough". In addition RBWM has an extensive highways network along which there are in excess of40 000 trees. RBWM is also responsible for 100 publicly accessible sites comprising of parks, open spaces, andcemeteries, may of which contain a high proportion of trees. The priority of RBWM is therefore to protect andappropriately manage the existing resource and the aim of the planned framework is to help achieve this.
