We require an organisation carry out an audit of train company websites against the retail information code of practice to assess the extent to which these websites provide the information need to choose, buy, and use rail tickets: 1) in the context of passengers visiting the website to find information about products and services in contemplation of making a train journey or having already bought a ticket(s), and 2) using the website to search for and buy a ticket(s) for a journey - in particular to help them identify the cheapest, most appropriate ticket(s) for their journey Additional information: Prospective bidders are strongly advised to register early on our eTendering portal as all future communications will be though the portal. Also, please note that all requests for clarification should be posted through the portal and proposals should be uploaded on to it by the time/date shown in the ITT.
