This will be used to counter the emerging narrative that delivering net zero will be too expensive and fail to benefit ordinary citizens. WWF will create a range of outputs that will demonstrate the impact of clear progress towards net zero by 2030 versus no/unambitious progress on the lives of different people across the UK. The project would present a vision for a lower carbon future that is exciting and inspirational, but also nuanced - acknowledging the trade-offs that reaching our 2030 climate goals will entail. To do this, a literature review is needed to create an evidence base and we require a suitably experienced consultant or consultancy confirm to provide this at short notice, during the month of July 2021.
