It is envisaged that the energy generated will support existing streams and with the potential to sell excess energy back into the grid. A design build finance and operate (DBFO) approach is proposed with a profit/energy share agreement in place with the funder. The university intends to competitively tender to source the optimum outcomes alongside value for money.
