Without this support, there is an increased risk of non-compliance, delays to enforcement technology deployment, challenges to the validity of enforcement activity, and potential impacts on road safety outcomes. The commission also puts robust controls in place through the supplier's contract management, audit trails, conflict of interest management and oversight of the specialist subcontractor, ensuring all activities are properly governed, represent value for money and support the safe, effective and legally compliant use of enforcement technology across the Strategic Road Network until March 2027.",
