## Summary

The British Red Cross is seeking suppliers for a Framework Agreement for the provision of Power Generation for Emergency Response Units. This tender, classified under the CPV code for Emergency power systems, is currently in the tender stage, with submissions due by 29th March 2018. The services required will support various emergency scenarios and will be delivered in the East Midlands region of the United Kingdom. The contract period is set to commence on 15th June 2018 and will run until 15th June 2020, as part of an open procurement procedure below the specified threshold.

This opportunity presents significant potential for growth, particularly for suppliers specialising in goods related to emergency power systems and generators. Businesses well-suited to compete include SMEs and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) that can demonstrate experience in providing robust power generation solutions for emergency contexts. The successful bidders will not only contribute to humanitarian efforts but also establish a long-term relationship with a prominent organisation dedicated to crisis response.

## Notice

1The British Red Cross "Red Cross" is a humanitarian organisation that refuses to ignore people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities and when the crisis is over, we help people recover and move on with their lives. Red Cross wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of Power Generation for Emergency Response Units (ERUs) with a number of suitably qualified and experienced suppliers who shall support various requirements. The Services required under this Framework Agreement shall include, but will not be limited to: - Power generation for a small office (which covers 5-10 laptops, printers, phone chargers and communications equipment chargers, e.g. radios, BGAN, satphone); and - Power generation for a warehouse tent - potential usage for lighting, charging batteries and power tools as well as cooling / heating items depending on the content. It is also possible that a few people will work out of this setup as well so a small office setup needs to be an option. Please refer to our Statement of Requirements, as detailed within the Invitation to Tender, for the full scope of Products. These Products must conform to the outputs detailed within the Statement of Requirements.
