## Summary

The Home Office in the UK is launching a procurement process for "Satellite Tracking Services" as part of its responsibilities under the Immigration Act 2016. Currently in the planning stage, the procurement is aimed at acquiring secure satellite tracking solutions and software to monitor individuals under deportation procedures. The engagement end date for suppliers to express their interest is set for 23rd February 2018. Interested parties should note that a supplier event is scheduled for 9th October 2017, providing an opportunity to engage directly with the authorities before tender submission. The industry category falls under Emergency and security equipment.

This tender offers significant growth opportunities for businesses that specialise in security technology, including satellite tracking devices, security software, and support services. Companies capable of providing innovative monitoring solutions and responsive field services will be particularly well-suited to compete. Additionally, businesses looking to enter into joint ventures or subcontracting arrangements may find this an ideal opportunity to collaborate with established suppliers in the public sector, aligning their capabilities with the requirements set by the Home Office.
