The project aims to establish a Virtual Employment Hub that integrates various employment support services, allowing residents to benefit from anticipated job growth. This tender was initiated through an open procurement method, with a total contract value of £30,000 and a contract period starting on 25 September 2017 and concluding on 16 March 2018. The tender period ended on 4 September 2017. This opportunity creates potential for growth for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector organisations (VCSEs) with expertise in public sector reform and employment services. Businesses that can demonstrate significant experience in integrating employment support services and enhancing access to job opportunities would be strong candidates for competing in this tender. The initiative has the dual benefit of addressing local employment needs while allowing firms to expand their offerings in public sector consultancy. ## Notice The Council is looking to work with a consultancy service which can offer substantial experience of public sector reform. Through successful integration of direct and indirect employment support services we expect to ensure that our residents are able to benefit from the forecast jobs growth in the district. We believe that the Council should support partners in Bath & North East Somerset to achieve this in our role as leader, facilitator, deliverer, influencer and employer. At the conclusion of this project, B&NES service providers, residents and employers will have developed a Virtual Employment Hub, integrating services and activities which relate to accessing employment across the whole of the district, although not reliant on a single physical location. The Employment Hub will have determined what resources are available to us and what shared outcomes we seek to achieve. The Hub will be based on the most efficient and effective routes to translate resources available into outcomes.
