## Summary

Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery Trust, located in Carlisle, is inviting competitive quotations for a mount making specialist to design and construct mounts for a 'Central Sculpture' in an 'Active Gallery' under Project Tullie Phase 3. This procurement falls under the "Hinges, mountings and fittings" industry category and is aimed at augmenting cultural services. The tender process is in the 'active' stage with the current tender period closing on 17th August 2026. It is a limited procurement method offering opportunities below the threshold, focusing on delivery within the North West region of the United Kingdom. The project, which begins on 5th October 2026 and concludes by 30th April 2027, requires the integration of playful floating displays and engineering expertise.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises specializing in engineering, design, fabrication, and installation of museum-grade object mounts. Companies with experience in working collaboratively with curatorial teams to execute complex artistic visions could greatly benefit from participating in this project. By engaging in such projects, businesses can not only enhance their portfolios but also gain significant exposure within the cultural sector, potentially opening doors to further opportunities in museum and gallery contracts across the UK and beyond.
