Successful tenderer will need to consult operatives and their manager to finalise training plan. Existing workforce comprising 40 operatives of which 22 have a lower skill set. All employees have at least one principal trade skill and all currently have varied abilities in one or more other trades. Development of a training plan for upskilling all operatives to a practical and comprehensive standard consistent with a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Property Maintenance. Delivery of all on-site training as required to achieve the overall Level 2 standard. All training is to be delivered at the E&F depot at 130 Cowley Road, Cambridge to a programme agreed with E&F service managers - designed to ensure all operatives achieve Level 2 standard within a min of 2 years and maximum of 3 years from project commencement. The appointed Training Organisation is to include for all assessors/trainers to work on site at E&F depot or other sites within Cambridge City Council boundary and to provide all toolsets required for training. Materials will be provided by the City Council from the on-site stores. Off-site training at the Training Organisations own premises will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and should not be assumed when preparing the submission.
