## Summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust has concluded a public procurement process to provide Insurance Broker Services for the period from 2025 to 2030. The process has reached the award stage, with ARTHUR J. GALLAGHER INSURANCE BROKERS LIMITED selected as the supplier. The contract, valued at £30,000, will cover various insurance needs including employee personal accident, combined liability, and engineering inspection, among others. The procurement was carried out through a call-off method from the ESPO 1160_23 Insurance Brokerage Framework, and the contract will commence on 1st October 2025 and run until 30th September 2030. The services will be operational in Nottingham, East Midlands, and are classified under the CPV code 66518100 - Insurance brokerage services.

This tender provides significant growth opportunities for large insurance brokerage firms capable of handling complex policy placements, claims processing, and risk management activities. The contract requires expertise in providing specialised insurance services tailored to the needs of a major healthcare institution. Although the procurement was conducted through a selective call-off method, businesses that are part of relevant frameworks can look to participate in similar future opportunities. This arrangement also offers a steady business avenue over several years with incremental extension potential, an attractive prospect for firms aiming to solidify their presence in the public sector insurance market.
