## Summary

Islington Council is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice, and Support Service (SENDIASS). This service, valued at £870,000, targets the education and training sector with additional emphasis on welfare and guidance services for young people. The service will cater to parents, carers, and young people with SEN and/or disabilities within the Islington area. This open procedure tender, which commenced on 18 September 2024, will conclude on 18 October 2024. Services are anticipated to begin on 1 April 2025 and continue until 31 March 2030.

This tender offers substantial opportunities for SMEs and VCSEs that specialise in educational support, welfare services, or advisory roles within the local community. Given its focus on providing comprehensive support through multiple channels, including helplines, websites, emails, and face-to-face appointments, businesses that have a robust infrastructure for managing such services will be well-equipped to compete.
