## Summary

The Department for Work and Pensions has awarded a contract for the project named "Phase 2 Adaptive Data Enablement" to Deloitte LLP. This IT services contract involves introducing an enhanced departmental operating model and appointing Senior Data Custodians within each Directorate to ensure GDPR Compliance. The contract value is £195,105 in GBP, and the contract period is from 15th August 2022 to 31st October 2022 in Blackpool, England.

This selective procurement process involves calling off from a framework agreement. The tender period ended on 7th August 2022. This opportunity can benefit businesses well-versed in IT services, consulting, software development, and Internet support. Organisations with experience in organisational change and GDPR compliance are well-suited to compete in this tender, which aims to enhance data sharing and compliance within the Department for Work and Pensions.

## Notice

As part of the drive to continuously improve data sharing and achieve GDPR Compliance the OoCDO needs to introduce an enhanced departmental operating model and appoint Senior Data Custodians within each Directorate to be accountable for the sharing and acquisition of their data assets as well as embedding data policies and ways of working to achieve GDPR Compliance. To help achieve this the OoCDO requires support from an organisation that has strong knowledge and experience of similar organisational change to support it in defining and implementing the new ways of working as well as training and upskilling the organisation. The outcome from this contract will be twofold; Firstly, Senior Data Custodians will be mobilised across the department to take up accountability for data sharing and compliance with the Data Sharing Policy. Secondly, Project Management for GDPR, GIAA and DPO health check remediation activities will continue without pause or delay through to October 2022 when a permanent Civil Service can be appointed from the recent successful Senior Data Governance Manager recruitment campaign.
