## Notice

Norfolk County Council has entered into a contract for the provision of storage, storage area network and back up including:- * Delivery, installation, configuration and support of new SAN and Backup solution including all components * Storage to allow for growth of 10% per annum for each of the 5 years (see figures below) * Support and maintenance of the existing equipment (Filers, Disk arrays, SAN) for the duration of the migration until decommissioned (current support arrangement ends 31/12/2016) * Support and maintenance of the new solution for 5 years * Professional services to deliver and migrate to the new solution * Seamless managed data migration from the old equipment to the new equipment minimising the need for downtime for the business * Transition from existing backup solution (tape library) to the new backup solution including associated licencing and software. * Secure wipe of all information from retired, replaced equipment within the scope of this project * Total or partial trade in of old equipment. * Project coordination and associated documentation * Onsite training and skills transfer This contract was let under the Crown Commercial Services Technology 2 Products Framework.
