## Summary

The NHS East Riding of Yorkshire CCG is conducting an open procurement process for the GP Extended Access Services, which will span 5.5 years with the possibility of a two-year extension. The contract, valued at £13.5 million, aims to enhance primary care delivery within the East Riding locality by providing patients with routine and pre-bookable appointments across the whole week. Key dates include the tender submission deadline on 8th May 2018, with the contract anticipated to commence on 1st October 2018 and run until 31st March 2026.

This opportunity is particularly well-suited for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that specialise in healthcare services, especially those experienced in supporting GP practices and delivering primary care solutions. The tender aims to improve patient access and satisfaction while addressing inequalities in healthcare provision, making it an enticing proposition for businesses looking to expand in the health services sector.
