Multiple providers may be appointed to support the delivery of the service dependent upon the capacity that is offered to the Trust. The Radiology Department provides both examination and imaging services for the Worcestershire Acute Hospital NHS Trust and the wider STP. The contract will support the Trust's priority to maintain a high level of service and acceptable turnaround times for patients from diagnostic to results. The provision of excellent healthcare to our patients is of paramount importance and the Trust is committed to maintaining and improving services. The Trust has identified that it requires additional support for MRI, CT and USS examinations. There is no guaranteed minimum activity level. Potential providers of the service will need to be based within a 30 mile radius of one of the WAHT sites; location of each site noted within the link below: http://www.worcsacute.nhs.uk/contact-us The procurement process will be conducted under the 'Light Touch Regime', governing 'Social and Other Specific Services' as detailed in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the Regulations) which are not subject to the full regime of the Regulations, but is instead governed by the Light Touch Regime contained within Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Regulations (Regulations 74 to 77).
