With a focus on SMEs, this procurement process promotes fair competition and offers the potential for sustainable business growth within the public sector. ## Notice Southampton City Council (SCC) is seeking to appoint suitably qualified suppliers to assist in the delivery of services to ensure that their Housing Stock water quality and controls are in line with current legislation. The aim is to conduct monitoring and maintenance within our properties and initiate a capital programme of remedial works across the city to reduce the overall risk rating and ensure all installations are compliant. Our In-House trade's teams will also be undertaking monitoring, some maintenance and remedial works. In order to maintain transparency two separate contractors are required, one to assess the quality of the water systems and identify any non-compliance corrective works (Lot One), and the second to carry out routine maintenance and corrective works as identified by the first contractor (Lot Two). Contractors are invited to bid for both parts of this tender however no single contractor can be awarded both. Additional information: Applicants will be required to apply via "Supply Southampton" website which can be accessed via, https://supplysouthampton.esourcingportal.com/ where you can register your details and access documentation. All documentation including questionnaires must be completed and submitted by no later than the time/date indicated. The Council undertakes to use reasonable endeavours to hold confidential any information provided in the proposal submitted, subject to the Council's obligations under law, including the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If the applicant considers that any of the information submitted in the proposal should not be disclosed because of its sensitivity then this should be stated with the reason for considering it sensitive. The Council will then consider the sensitivity statement before replying to any request received under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
