The requirements for the project include modifications to the existing wards, side rooms and ancillary areas on the 1st floor Edmund Ward to improve the staff and patient environment and meet operational requirements. It also includes the provision of a gym on the ground floor, that will require some remodelling of the ground floor outpatients' areas. Edmund's Ward on the first floor is unoccupied, while ground floor is occupied by Daniels Ward.
