## Summary

The Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council is currently conducting a tender for the project titled "3424: Cross Sectional Post Mortem Imaging - South Manchester Coronial District." This procurement falls within the pathology services industry and is located in the North West region of the United Kingdom. The procurement is currently in the tender stage, with a deadline for submissions set for 24 October 2017. The estimated value of the contract is £22,500,000, and this procurement is being carried out through a selective and negotiated procedure. The contract is expected to commence on 24 December 2017 and will last for ten years, concluding on 23 December 2027.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses involved in medical imaging, healthcare services, and associated logistical support. Companies that have expertise in providing cross-sectional imaging services, along with those capable of fulfilling the operational demands such as staffing, equipment provision, and facility management, would be well-positioned to compete. The contract's extensive requirements, including the ability to deliver high-quality pathology services and generate additional community benefits, may particularly favour small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations.
