The Sports Centre is located at the main Kedleston Road site in Derby, approx. 1.5 miles from the city centre. The PS10.8 million sports centre was opened in 2015 and has a current membership of 1567 (based on March 2020 figures): 1109 student, 175 staff, and 283 community/graduate/other members. Facilities include eight badminton court sports hall, 70-station fitness suite, 2 dedicated fitness studios, two squash courts, a climbing wall, and a performance strength and conditioning suite.
