The Council wishes to let a Framework Agreement for a period of 4 years and an initial Call Off Contract from this Framework Agreement for a period of three years with the option to extend by a further 3 years up to a maximum term of 6 years. The Service Provider shall provide a comprehensive domestic and commercial Clinical and Offensive Waste collection service for the Contracting Authority. This will include all aspects of the Collection and Support Services, including the administration of the collections, the collection of the Clinical and Offensive Waste from customers and the transportation of the Clinical and Offensive Waste to the relevant Delivery Point(s) in order that it can be treated and disposed of. The Service Provider will also be responsible for the treatment and disposal of domestic Offensive & Clinical Waste which is collected by the seven Waste Collection Authorities (WCAs), or by third party contractors on behalf of the WCAs. The following WCAs will require the full scope of Collection and Support / Treatment and Disposal Services under this contract: oArun District Council oChichester District Council oCrawley Borough Council oHorsham District Council The remaining three WCAs have their own arrangements in place for Collection and Support Services, however Treatment and Disposal Services are still required: oAdur District Council oMid Sussex District Council oWorthing Borough Council Please note the above three WCAs will be permitted to access and call off Collection and Support Services from the Framework Agreement in the future, should they wish to.
