The overarching aim of the service is to significantly improve the experience of people visiting Oxford, whether for work, shopping or living in Oxford. * To provide 4 staff who can work flexible hours * To work 7 days per week, 8 hours per shift, excluding lunch breaks * This service is to provide a stewarding resource in Oxford City Centre and other areas of Oxford, if and when required * To assist visitors to the City Centre to comply with the Covid guidelines * Welcome and provide information to shoppers and tourists including directions * Respond to incidents and accidents * Keep a watchful eye over the public realm areas of the city centre * Assist in preventing street crime by offering high visibility patrols * Officers will be based within the Community Safety Service at St Aldate's Chambers.
