## Summary

The public procurement contracting process involves the award of a contract for the supply of legal services related to railway development consent orders. The buying organisation, Burges Salmon LLP, based in Bristol, United Kingdom, is seeking a sub-contractor with extensive experience in delivering legal services in large-scale railway development projects. The procurement method is "Other - Private Sector Procurement," and the contract period is from September 1, 2022, to February 21, 2026. The tender deadline was August 24, 2022.

This tender presents an opportunity for businesses with expertise in consenting and real estate legal services for complex railway schemes to collaborate with Burges Salmon. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the required certifications and capabilities for leadership, organisational skills, and stakeholder engagement are well-suited to compete in this process. The collaboration aims to establish a fair competitive process while meeting the legal services requirements of Burges Salmon under the Crown Commercial Service Legal Services Panel RM6204.
