The challenge of how to effectively and collectively address climate change, economic, political, gender and racial inequality, migration and displacement, security and the ever-faster emergence of new data-driven governance forms demands answers, and a renewed involvement in political and civic engagement. This can only be developed by 'outside-the-box' thinking and interdisciplinary engagement, and by more effectively identifying the ways of breaking down the walls between theory and practice. KTLS18 is a King's College London initiative and all branded collateral must sit firmly within the confines of the King's brand, promoting the university, the faculty and the conference at one and the same time.
