## Summary

The procurement process involves Espo, a Central Purchasing Body located in Leicester, which is seeking suppliers for its "636_17 Vehicle Charging Infrastructure" project. This tender relates to the installation and supply of electric vehicle charging points and back office solutions, among other services. The open procurement method allows for a competitive bidding process, with a significant estimated budget of £60 million. Interested suppliers have until 25 April 2017 to submit their tenders, and the contract period will commence on 1 June 2017 and last until 31 May 2019, with a potential 24-month extension.

This tender presents a substantial opportunity for businesses within the electric vehicle infrastructure sector, particularly those engaged in manufacturing and supplying charging solutions, installation services, and related technological innovations. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, given the framework's inclusivity. Successful bidders will have a chance to establish long-term contracts with public bodies across the UK, thereby enhancing their market presence and contributing to the growth of sustainable transport initiatives.
